Programming Policy



Our Spaces

We have a number of presenting, development, project and experimental spaces. Each space is flexible to individual needs and most have 24 hour access.

TiM Studio

Our main space, an 80 seater studio theatre.

Gallery II

Gallery, Lab, and Project space based on campus just off Great Horton Road.

Café Bar

The cosiest space on campus, our café bar is staffed by our amazing student front of house team. Whether you want a place to just decompress, catch up on emails, hang out with friends or pick the brains of the various artists in residence the café is at the heart of TiM.

TiM Below

Our new basement space. An intimate venue perfect for stand-up, spoken word and a well-equipped development space.

TiM Square

Our amazing temporary space on Centenery Square. Installations, Public Engagement and low tech presentations.

Tiny TiM

Micro Studio for one to one performances and digital installations.


Theatre in the Mill is based on the University of Bradford Campus.  You can access the venue via Shearbridge Road which has free on-street parking.

We’re opposite Bombay Stores down a side road onto the University campus.
